Criminal Conviction Check - ACS has 15 years experience in perfecting complex court data and systems to search conviction records in your applicant’s name. Counties and courts vary in what identifiers are used, number of years available, and cost, however, we provide flat fee pricing. Note there is no legitimate nationwide system accessible to the public (The NCIC is available for law enforcement agency use only). “Database records” can contain outdated, unreliable and inaccurate information. ACS verifies with court direct source information only.

Sex Offender Search – Federal and State Comprehensive Search - A Sex offender search is a necessary tool in a complete background search as offenders may be registered in a state other than the state of conviction. We first check State registries as they have the latest information available. We then additionally check the national registry so that all possible records are identified. We want you to be ACS safe.

Social Security Number Verification - Assures the person applying for employment has not applied under a false number or someone else’s number, and that the number is current and valid with the Social Security Administration.

Address Trace - Will the applicant reliably list every address at which they’ve lived in the past seven years? This history is critical to a thorough 7 year conviction check so that we can search all areas in which the applicant has lived those past seven years. Not required if doing a current county of residence check only.

Alias Name Search - Alias names exist in many cases; Marriage, divorce, foreign translation, or multiple last names. People with something to hide know how to use these various name to their advantage. Choosing to perform the ACS search on all alias names assures the most thorough criminal conviction check possible.

Credit History - A full credit summary can be an essential tool to those employers where a good picture of fiscal responsibility is imperative. This may include those applicants whom will be trusted with finances, credit cards or handling of cash or checks. For those prospects outside of these positions a credit history may not be as critical.

State-wide Criminal Check - We make this check available to you in those states where a state check is obtainable. In those states where access is more in depth than the counties in the state, our investigators will perform this search at no additional charge.

Employment History - Our investigators verify past employment listed on the application by your applicant and also those employers found by our investigators but forgotten by your applicant. We verify dates of employment, position, salary, reason for termination, and re-hire status, as well as discussing performance and attendance records.

Industry Specific Screening - ACS extends our expertise to obtaining the specialized verifications that industries such as Banking, Healthcare, and Transportation require.

Certification/Licensing - This service is the one that uncovers the most surprising falsification rate. With the number of small companies providing certifications and the frequency in which they go in and out of business, it takes an experienced investigation team with a long communication history to uncover the accuracy of certifications.

Education - Collegiate and graduate degrees are verified, with our report showing the date the highest degree was acquired. If the highest degree listed was not obtained, we will verify the next degree listed until you have a valid picture of the education of your applicant.

Driving Records - The researching of an applicant's driving record is essential for applicants that will be driving commercially, or traveling using rental cars. The availability of driving records and what information is available constantly changes state by state. ACS keeps up with these changes on your behalf. An authorization is required by law and varies by state. Each will be provided by ACS Data Search.

Federal Records/Bankruptcy Search - Federal criminal conviction checks, federal civil records and Bankruptcy searches are available as additional search services.

Online Access – Submit, retrieve and review applicants and background reports online anytime from any PC. We accept applications by fax as well, and are able to return reports to multiple sites via web or fax.
